About Us

Caring Place Residential Home, Inc. is a six-bed residential home located on a three acre lot  in Baker, Louisiana. Caring Place Residential Home, Inc. was founded in 2005 by Consuela Marshall an Occupational Therapist with a vision of creating a long-term care facility  that would provide the daily care  the elderly and disabled need, in an environment that feels like home.  

Caring Place is a state licensed facility which is staffed 24 hours a day. Our caregivers are experienced and committed to ensuring a high-quality of life for all our cherished residents.  All of our staff must pass a rigorous background check before joining our team.  Support services from homehealth nursing, physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech therapy are allowed.  Hospice services are also permitted.

Since its inception, Caring Place Residential Home has cared for individuals with a wide range of diagnoses and disabilities, including dementia, alzheimers, strokes, Parkinson's and joint  replacements.
